CASE Partners with RTI to Drive Nationwide Climate Pollution Reduction Efforts under the EPA’s CPRG Program

Windfarm

When Research Triangle Institute (RTI.org) needed specialized expertise for the EPA’s Climate Pollution Reductions Grant (CPRG) program, they partnered with CASE. Our multidisciplinary team conducted thorough scientific and technical merit reviews of over 223 grant applications submitted by states, municipalities, tribal nations, and territories, all focused on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Our experts brought a blend of public and private sector experience across key GHG-emitting industries. Beyond evaluating grantee projects, we assessed Priority Climate Action Plans (PCAPs) for their potential to reduce air and water pollution, comply with renewable energy standards, improve energy efficiency, implement waste reduction initiatives, and advance carbon removal policies.

CASE is proud to have played a key role in the EPA’s decision-making process, ensuring that effective and impactful climate pollution reduction strategies are funded and implemented across the nation.
