CASE manages this unique meeting, event, and co-working, LEED v4-certified Clean Air space, located minutes from NOAA’s National Center for Environmental Information (NCEI) in the heart of 'Climate City'. It serves as a hub for professionals seeking a distinguished space to co-work and collide with others for inspired collaborations. We plan, facilitate, and host events including NOAA’s annual Climate Application Predictions Workshop (CPAWS) and hold climate ‘bootcamps’ for professionals to learn how to operationalize strategies to address climate change impacts to and across their industries and supply chains.

CASE develops the Climate Change Assessment for Canadian National Rail Safety Improvement Program (RISP), in partnership with BGC Engineering. We quantify and baseline current temperature, precipitation, and other conditions, modeling the direction and magnitude of changes to evaluate the impact of hydrologic and hydrometeorological events (e.g., summer drought, atmospheric rivers) on the rail system.

CASE serves as subject matter expert and assists in developing the Climate Change Assessment Level 0 for Cariboo Road Recovery Project (CRRP) Program Wide Projects in British Columbia, Canada. Our work will inform strategies on improving this critical road system’s resilience to extreme climate and weather events such as landslides and flooding.

CASE’s experts evaluate the multiplier effects of climate change on a variety of geohazards facing SE Asia for USAID and Geohazards International (GHI) Amplified Risk Program. We help USAID and GHI create a resilience playbook for risk managers in the region.

CASE supports data operations, data archiving and archives maintenance, environmental metadata management, and user support and training needs for NOAA’s NCEI. Our team helps NCEI transform over 229TB of atmospheric, coastal, geophysical, and oceanic research into products and services that support projects like the Weather Research and Forecasting Innovation Act and the NOAA Blue Economy Initiative. CASE also produced two Value of Data Natural Hazards and Disaster Risk Reduction Sector reports for NCEI.
